Terrapass is pleased to welcome our newest Carbon Balanced Business partner, Taylor Commercial. Taylor Commercial has balanced out the CO2 emissions resulting from its on-site energy use, company vehicles, business travel, and employee commuting.
Taylor Commercial, headquartered in Roswell, GA, is a professional construction firm that has been serving the multi-family industry since 1969. They specialize in the renovation of large, resident-occupied properties, and they are also the premier siding contractor in the Southeast. Their complete renovation solutions include fiber-cement and vinyl siding, windows and doors, interior/exterior painting, roofing, decks and fencing, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, site work, wood repair and much more.
Taylor Commercial has placed a tremendous importance on creating an eco-friendly environment at the company. Over the past 6-9 months, they have implemented numerous changes in their efforts to become a greener company. In addition to becoming a Terrapass Carbon Balanced Business, they have replaced two fleet vehicles to improve the fuel efficiency of their fleet and three team members have become Certified LEED Professionals. They have also significantly reduced paper use and have created several strategic partnerships with green suppliers. They are continuously renovating their offices to include more efficient lighting, air conditioning and electronics, as well as focusing on purchasing recycled products.
Taylor Commercial’s Vice President and COO Ross Haynes told us that “we are making every effort to reduce our carbon footprint and educate our employees about the small steps they can take to help. The Terrapass program allows us to take that last step by balancing out what is left of our footprint in a way that has a real, verifiable impact.”
Terrapass is impressed with Taylor Commercial’s commitment to becoming a more environmentally sustainable business.
Welcome Taylor Commercial!
