Our Annual Subscription balances your environmental impact, from household water and electricity use to driving your car. It’s based on the carbon emissions, water consumption, and energy usage of the average American. Your subscription can be customized for your household, whether you’re offsetting for yourself or your entire household!
How much water do you use?
We all rely on water – it’s a vital resource for life as we know it. According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the average American household uses more than 300 gallons of water per day! Our Annual Subscription includes Bonneville Environmental Foundation Water Restoration Certificates®, so you can support water restoration projects across the U.S and balance your water consumption.
How much energy do you use?
According to the Energy Information Administration, the average American household uses about 11 Mwh of electricity annually. Getting power directly from a renewable source takes some time and effort but we’ve made it really easy for you to support clean energy by balancing your electricity use with Renewable Energy Certificates. Your support helps build clean energy projects across the U.S. that eliminate emissions associated with energy production from traditional sources.
Do you own a car?
Not every American owns a car, but if you do, we’ve made offsetting easy! Our Annual Subscription offsets 4.92 mT of CO2 emissions per year per vehicle, taxi, or Zipcar, and allows you to add up to 3 vehicles per household.

Your carbon footprint is reduced by the equivalent amount of carbon offsets purchased from emission reduction projects like dairy farms and wind turbines. This household carbon offsets, Renewable Energy Credits, and BEF Water Restoration Certificates® purchase will help make a positive impact on the environment. Plus, it will auto-renew each year. You can turn off this automatic renewal at any time.
Sales T&Cs:
Each year on the anniversary of purchase, the Company will bill the Customer in the amount stated at the time of purchase, using the payment method specified by the Customer. The renewal will continue each year unless the Customer cancels. The Company may change its pricing, but Customer yearly auto renewal billings will not be charged without the Customer’s permission. Customer may cancel at any time by contacting Customer Support or by accessing your account page and cancelling the subscription there.
